Fried rice was not great. Waiter was not nice

Love this place ! No other like it ! Food is always delicious !!!

I have been eating here for year the food has been consist and great. The recipes has not changed and that's a good thing. I would go here whenever i wan the best sausage or chicken wings to.

Everything we ordered was really yummy. I dropped a star only because afterwards I found out that they use MSG and that usually gives me a headache, luckily it was an early lunch so I was able to drink lots of water the rest of the day to avoid it. My daughter loved the fried chicken and my husband and I enjoyed the beef larb, papaya salad, and sausage. Cute little shop, family owned and run. Very authentic.

Customer service is great. My family has been going here for years and we enjoy the food and service every time.

Sticky rice, chicken wings, papaya salad (med spicy), and an order of chicken larp. We (2 of us) only order those and we come from the city and we leave nothing to take home because its that good. Trust me :)

White Pearl Restaurant gives such a big amount of food, it'll leave you with leftovers. Very good tasting

Every time I am in town I must eat here. I usually ordered the beef pao and cannot find a place that beats this (a little bias since I have been going here for 25+ years). The server, Howie is super nice and friendly. He even took the time to explain their food to my wife that was having difficulty finding something she might like. The owners are very welcomeing and you just feel like family when coming here. One of the few places in Elgin that is still a mom and pop place, so give them a try at least.

To me this is the best Thai/Lao restaurant in the Chicago area. Whenever I am back in town I come here even though it is far. I do think the portions are smaller than they use to be though

I celebrated my PhD today in this delicious restaurant. happy to tell that it was a tremendous evening and the place was absolutely one of the reasons for this successful meeting. The stuff participated in a sweet style, the cuisine was very good and my buddies were extremely thrilled. We shall definitely return for more celebrations. thanks very much.

Ordered white pearl chicken pho thru Door Dash. Ordering via Door dash was very easy. I spoke with Manager at white pearl. Gentleman was very nice and friendly. Chicken pho and eggroll were very delicious. Glad they are open for business again. Highly recommend white pearl for great oriental food!!

I ordered Chicken pho, my wife had pad thai & my daughter had seafood lad nar. All were very good. I got these things for carryout at the counter and didn't have a long wait. I recommend the food here.

I ordered the Lao pork and sticky rice!! It was so good tasted just like it did at my friends house long ago when her grandmother cooked for us!! It was a little pricey and I got a whole bag of Roman lettuce with it idk if that’s supposed to come with it I was confused lol.. but I gave 4 stars bc the food was excellent and I will definitely go to White Pearl again soon!!!

Great food, great value, served up by great people. My favorites are the beef paad thai, combination paad thai, and egg rolls. I try to go here once a week and would go more if I could.

I celebrated my birthday earlier this evening in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we passed a fabulous evening and the place was undoubtedly the reason for this strong celebration. The crew participated in a pleasant style, the cooking was very good and my guests were so cheerful. We shall definitely come back again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

When we first came in, we were underwhelmed with the decor. The tables were even a little rickety and needed cleaning. Then we figured, "what the heck," and ordered. The egg rolls were screaming hot and delicious, the pho was spectacular, the fried noodle chicken was amazing. Everything we ordered was delivered with precision and completely without extraneous fan fair or frills. I wouldn't take a dinner date or anyone I want to impress, but I'd come here again and again for the FOOD. White Pearl is a hidden gem for true foodies. Everybody else... well... you might not appreciate it as much as we foodies do, but you're also likely to spend twice as much for cloth napkins and half the quality.

Food was very tasty and and huge portions. Thought table tops and napkin holder could use a good cleaning.

I love the food here! I have sticky rice, beef jerky (yum!) And egg rolls. If I want to eat something lighter, I have pho. So yummy.

I have been wanting to try this place out for quite some time especially since it's only about 10 minutes from me. I ordered the combination Paad See Euw and Thai Iced Tea with milk. Both were good and the food had amazing flavor and the squid was tender which is hard to do, it can easily become rubbery if cooked to little or tough if cooked to long not to mention the large portion size. I ordered for pick up and the man at the counter was very friendly, I did accidentally walk off with their pen when I signed so if he sees this I'm sorry about that lol. Some of the other reviewers even by other local guides have almost all 5 star ratings to places they've been and I find it hard to trust those because to me 5 stars is exceptional not every place including a Taco Bell can be 5 stars (last name Ellen) but this place absolutely deserves the 5 stars that I rated it. I had to break out my nice chopsticks for this one :-)

The best chicken chow fun! Love those noodles! Super delicious chicken pad thai. The peanut flavor is amazing. Overall love that place. Absolutely going back to get my Asian sensation fix.

We ordered food Togo.... the food was AWFUL! We couldn’t even eat it!

Quick service. Very large portion for soup. Clean and quiet atmosphere. There is a tv but it wasn't on which is a plus - no distraction.

Whatever I'm hungry and close by Elgin I stopp into White Pearl for noodle soup and other specialties, don't forget to order Sticky Rice!

if their was a zero star I would give it, i walked in the store about last tuesday hoping for some good food. The person taking my order was some high schooler. I look over towards the door and see a dog, A REAL DOG🤮 and I tell him never mind and walked my self out I was extremely disgusted by this.

BEST PHO AND FRY BREAD EVER

I ordered food for pickup, no curbside delivery. Went inside and none of the staff was wearing face masks! There did not appear to be any pandemic precautions being taken. There was a crummy old menu in a vinyl covering at the counter. Wish I had said something.

Love this place. All noodle soup are great flavor. Pad Thai is not that good. Fried rice is pretty good except should not have bean sprout. The best is som tum. So yummy but if you don't like spicy food, order no pepper. I'm Thai and with only one pepper, it's pretty spicy but taste so good with sticky rice. Owner is very courteous. Wish I live there. Always thought it was a chinese place but was surprised to see it was Thai. Easy menu to choose from a solid choice of PHO;s Will be back to try the non-soup offerings

Great little hole in the wall restaurant with Authentic Laos, Vietnamese and Thai Cuisine.

This is a quaint place, nothing fancy. It is family owned. The food is delicious though. Their soups are really good. If you are there to eat then it won't disappoint. But if you are there for the ambiance and mood then this is not the place for you.
